Natural rubber is off-white in color but black color of tires comes from carbon black,Pure vulcanized rubber is soft and wears out very quickly.

An ordinary rubber does not have the abilities to withstand high

temperature and wear.So we adding carbon black by increasing bearing properties of tyre.Manufacturing of tyres including chemicals like Sulfur and other chemicals are also used in tires. Specific chemicals, when mixed with rubber and then heated, produce specific tire characteristics such as high friction (but low mileage) for a racing tire or high mileage (but lower friction) for a passenger car tire.

Existence black is the result of the manufacturer’s tries to increase the life of their automotive products.Subsequently UV light and ozone are one of the biggest factors that subsidize to tire rot, protecting against them is of the greatest importance to manufacturers – right along with safety and performance. Without the additive, the tires would weather and dry rot much further quickly.

So the main reason for black color in tires for adding carbon black to drastically increasing its withstand properties
